11/09/10 RFC v Crystal Palace

I managed to get home just after 3 but have not really been able to get the on-line system working. First of all I could only get music on the RFC website, listened for a while to the Crystal Palace commentary, before eventually getting commentary from a RFC perspective. The Palace commentary was subdued by comparison with Peter Hood’s style.

Peter is not in the studio today, its Alex (?) with David Armstrong.  The commentary was not working for the first 20 minutes of the second half.

RFC have a penalty, and a new player is taking the spot kick….please score…..you’ve got to give him so credit taking a penalty on his debut, and he’s scored his first for Reading.

The commentator has just said there should be no way back for Palace, but Everton scored two goals in added time to draw with Man United earlier today!

Reading have moved from 14th at the start of play today, to 9th, and now 7th on goal difference with 20 minutes to go to full time. This is the first game after Sigurdsson has left, so the team need a lift really, shame it’s coming at Palace’s expense.

7 minutes to go for our first win at home.
