21st August: RFC 1:1 Nottingham Forest

Frustrated because the official Reading Football Club website appears to be down so I cannot listen to the Royals over the internet. I have got Sky Sports News on in the background, but this is not going to be available on Freeview after Monday, so will have to resort to the BBC red button if this happens again.

Thankfully the website is now working although has disconnected a couple of times already.

RFC managed to draw in a frustrating game where a mistake by the goalie gifted Forest an equaliser. Its very frustrating listening to RFC as they seam good at making chances but are not so good at taking them.

Whilst its very early days in the season, I can’t help feeling that this is going to be another season of “if only”s.

Could n’t believe my ears earlier when I heard that Steve Coppell had resigned. We were away in Italy when it happened. I was really looking forward to Reading and Bristol playing each other.

Anyway not a complete disaster today, but it could have been much better!
